Church Mask Policy

Good Morning, Church Family!

This is a crazy season.  While it is true that positive cases of the COVID-19 virus have gone up in recent day…please understand that this disease is not in control.  God is in control.  And we march forward with that in mind.
Yesterday, the elders of our church met, and it was decided to make some temporary changes in order to address concerns involving worship at St. Andrew during this time of uptick in cases.  Starting this Sunday, November 22nd, the 8:00 a.m. worship service will be mask mandatory.  The 10:30 a.m. service will only be mask (highly) recommended, with the exception of those who have medical/health needs.

The elders (myself included) have no desire to police this matter.  We just ask that those attending services be aware of these temporary changes and adjust accordingly.  We are also asking for folks to wear a mask when walking through the fellowship hall, narthex, and/or when coming within close proximity of another individual.
We will also continue to live stream the worship services and attend to those participating in the services from their cars out in the parking lot.
Additional services:

  • Thanksgiving Eve Service (Nov. 25th) – Mask (highly) recommended
  • Midweek services in Advent – Mask (highly) recommended
  • Christmas Eve Services – 4:00 p.m. – Mask mandatory
                                                6:00 p.m. – Mask (highly) recommended
  • Christmas Day Service –  9:00 a.m. – Mask (highly) recommended
